One of TGS/Econo-Rail's largest programs is railcar storage. Operating railcar storage yards both within customer's plants and at TGS/Econo-Rail yards, the division handles over four million railcars per year. Convenient, safe and reliable facilities are sited near major industrial centers to provide quick positioning of cars when needed by customers. In addition, TGS/Econo-Rail has the ability to provide full maintenance, inspection and repair of railcars while in storage so that the cars are operational when needed.
