The TGS locomotive fleet consists of over 130 units; including a variety of 4-axle and 6-axle switchers and road locomotives. All units are put through a rigorous inspection process and meet all OEM specifications before they are leased to ensure that they are service ready.
Locomotive leases are completely customizable with features and technology that meet the demands of the most discerning client. Optional upgrades include: in-cab air conditioning, Dash 3 technology, Smart Start, Hot Start, traction control systems, and GPS monitoring. Our GPS monitoring system relays real time data including: run and idle times, fuel consumption, speed, and miles traveled; allowing clients to have a clear picture of operational efficiency, as well as monitor and predict fuel costs.
Our staff of over 20 skilled locomotive mechanics and technicians provide maintenance and repair services throughout the country. We work closely with additional contract locomotive service providers to assure that your needs are met for the life of your lease. TGS outlines response time tables and strategically coordinates service personnel at all levels; ensuring that routine maintenance and emergency service plans are in place before a need ever arises at your facility. Should you have any questions, concerns, or emergencies, a TGS representative is on call and available to you 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
