Operating railcar storage yards both within customers’ plants and at TGS/Econo-Rail yards, the division handles over 500,000 railcars per year. Convenient, safe and reliable rail storage facilities are located near major industrial centers in order to provide quick positioning of cars as required by customers. In addition, TGS/Econo-Rail has the ability to provide full maintenance, inspection and repair of railcars while in storage so that cars are operational when needed.
